Sith Academy, Class of '87 was produced by IMX Productions in Ottawa and shot in the NX Martial Arts studio. Written and Directed by Robert Baldwin. 

Although it was a year after the completion of the short film, the official premiere was held on July 16th 2009 at the Mayfair Theatre in Ottawa.
